INNOV8 EVENT: INTERNET OF THINGS

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an evolution of the Internet from a network of connected computers to a network of connected objects - from smart fridges that track your eating habits to advanced robotics in automotive assembly lines. Users, apps and ‘smart’ objects will be able to interact with each other in real-time. The promise from IoT is great but how will this benefit all South Africans, and where can South Africa lead in the global IoT market? The Innovation Hub will be hosting an interactive Innov8 event to dig into IoT applications, challenges and opportunities in the South African context.
